How to Plan for the Future and Still Stay in the Present Moment – Eckhart Tolle
Eckhart Tolle sees a difference between constructive thinking and useless, negative, habitual thinking about the future. The first one helps us to better organize ourselves, to make some decisions, and focused on things that we have to work out. The other type of thinking is useless because we project ourselves onto some imagined situation that may never happen, we worry about things, and dwell on possible outcomes. This negative thinking takes us away from the present moment.
